My art
Chairs we meet on vacation
This collection of electronic drawings has been inspired by three very special thrifted chairs in my life and their everyday or occasional uses. They all feature real-life objects and scenarios, all part of House of Morm.

Milan
This beauty, which we found in Milan at a thrift store for 40 euros, instantly caught the attention of both my husband and me, and we knew it needed to come home with us. Luckily, we were there by car and could squeeze it in. We use it as extra seating whenever we have guests over, and, conveniently, it can just fold away when not needed.
I staged it with art books, because i often use it to shoot clips of thrifted books and also absolutely adore the look of a random chair with a pile of books on top.
Budapest
This simple yet impactful stool is inspired by an Alvar Aalto icon. I found it at a flea market in Budapest. The seller was asking around 30 ron for it, but my mother talked him down to 15. Yes, you read that correctly. No, i didn’t forget a 0 at the end.
More often than not, it is covered in charging tech, offering more surface area next to an outlet. It also serves as an extra coffee table whenever we need it, i wanted to capture that, coffee and candles, it's the ultimate scene of morm.
Bucharest
This old Thonet (it does have a maker's mark) chair came to me from a very romantic source: OLX. I was just browsing out of curiosity, but when i saw this listing for 150 ron, i knew i needed to have it.
It's currently in my bathroom, housing all my bath salts and supplies. I love it so much there, i even made this the first image on my website. The idea came, while watching Youtube, and someone suggested adding a vintage chair next to your bathtub. Until then, it had been the random chair with the pile of books.
